WHO ARE WE?
Born to Tell Stories
At Book Talk, your child will grow a passion for storytelling and learning English. Book Talk’s storytelling teaching method makes learning fun and contagious!
In all of our lessons, story is at the centre of it. Story reaches all types of learners, whether you can see the 3 Little Pigs hiding in the brick house from the Big Bad Wolf, or feel the sand at Stanley Beach as you smell some BBQ, our story-based lessons will help stimulate your children. We believe your child has a story to tell and they shouldn’t be afraid to share it.
OUR LEARNING METHOD
We encourage interaction and movement for children as it’s better for your child’s learning. Our lessons have fun activities using a target language, interactive story time and post-story reflection and retelling time. Children are encouraged to explore their interests as it highly motivates them to learn.
With over 12,000 books and growing, your child is sure to find a book worth talking about.
Story is the centre of all our lessons as we believe it’s the most effective way for your child to learn.
Your child will find learning is automatic as our atmosphere makes education, literature and English fun.
We modify our teaching style to meet the learning needs of your child.
You won’t see our noses grow, Pinocchio. Our instructors are native-English and native-Mandarin speakers. Patient, enthusiastic, energetic, caring and dramatic are the words to describe our teachers.
Now equip our animated instructors with the extensive, intriguing library and your child may find practicing English is contagious in our warm atmosphere. And while the teachers may not have any puppet strings to hold them down, you may see them go as far as dancing to help illustrate a concept/point to your child. And that’s the truth, Pinocchio!
