A bunch of beavers are caught by a trapper, but they manage to escape on a boat. They escape the dangers in the ocean such as a storm and a shark and settle on an island far away. The pictures are simple and clear, and the story is told in a poem that is fun to read along too.

Blue the dog plays outside in the wind and then he leaves clues around the house for what he wants to make with his friend Magenta. The book is good for learning about activities outside and for things in a house. It’s also fun to try to work out what the clues Blue leaves around are for.

Spongebob and his friend Patrick are trying to get to the city in his new car Patty Wagon. But when they have to stop, a mean looking fish takes their car and Spongebob and Patrick have to try to take it back. This is an exciting story, Spongebob is always funny, and the pictures are very charming and expressive.
