Diary of a Spider

Good for children aged 5-12. This book explains the daily life of a spider in a funny and original way, where the spider has classes at school, a best friend who is a fly, and a web house. It has emotive illustrations, and can help kids understand how to get along with others.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

A Seed is a Promise

Good for children aged 7-12. This is an informative book about how seeds work, from when they are created inside a flower to when they finally grow into a new plant.  This book is a fascinating look into how the plants we see everyday grow, and will teach something new to people of all ages.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Princess Precious and the Peasant Girl

Good for children aged 6-12.  This book has a fairy-tale story line about a spoiled princess who learns that poor people are a lot more hardworking than she previously thought.  It has an important message for children, and teaches them to be kind and understanding towards others.

I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
